John R. Dayton, MD is an emergency physician and healthcare entrepreneur. His goal is to improve healthcare through innovation and digital health. He was the first Medical Design and Innovation Fellow with Stanford's Department of Emergency Medicine and is a current Bioinnovation Faculty Fellow with the Stanford Byers Center of Biodesign.

In addition to practicing medicine, he advises health-tech startups and is a venture partner for SpringTide's digital health fund. He co-founded Utah's Society of Physician Entrepreneurs and served in national leadership positions for his specialty society, the American College of Emergency Physicians. He also writes about medical innovation for Emergency Physicians Monthly.
