Dr Juan Pablo Appendino is a Paediatric Neurologist – Epileptologist at the Alberta Children’s Hospital (ACH) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is also the Director of the Neuro-Metabolic Therapy service at ACH and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. Currently, he serves as the President of the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists (CSCN) and leads the Drug and Therapeutics Committee at the CLAE. His primary clinical-research interests are EEG-Trends use in neuro-critical monitoring, drug-resistant epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, ketogenic diet, and autism.
