Dr Garcia is Professor of Neurology at UC San Francisco where he has been on the faculty for 30 years. He specializes in the treatment of epilepsy. His professional life has been dedicated to improving the lives of people with epilepsy through building the clinical programs of the UCSF Epilepsy Center. His research has focused on improving the diagnosis and treatment of people with hard-to-treat epilepsy.
