Pediatric Neurologist

Dr. Neggy Rismanchi

Dr. Neggy Rismanchi is an associate professor of pediatric neurology with specialized training in pediatric epilepsy. She has bachelor of science degrees in psychology as well as neurobiology, physiology, and behavior from UC Davis, obtained a doctor of medicine (MD) and a doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in neuroscience from Pennsylvania State University through the Graduate Partnership Program (GPP) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), completed her child neurology residency training at UC San Diego, and her epilepsy fellowship at UC Irvine- Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Dr. Rismanchi is the director of the Pediatric Intractable Epilepsy Clinic at UC Davis which is focused on the evaluation and treatment of medication-resistant epilepsy, including surgical and non-surgical options.
 

Dr. Rismanchi’s research interests include understanding and the management of various forms of epilepsies, with a particular interest in neuromodulation. She is also interested in how neuromodulation, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), can be utilized as a therapeutic intervention for various neurologic or mental health conditions.
