Bio - Dr. Ramin Rafie, MD:

Dr. Ramin Rafie is a primary care physician who graduated from UCLA and received his medical degree from UCI. He chose to pursue primary care after his father, a dentist, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease during his time in medical school. Dr. Rafie worked at the nation's 4th largest ACO and played a significant role in proving to Medicare that providing primary care in the home is more cost-efficient. In 2019, Medicare passed a law allowing all Medicare recipients to receive a visiting physician, which was previously limited to the homebound population. Dr. Rafie's organization was the largest participant and most significant in the Independence At Home (IAH) program. He also served as the hospice director for two locations in southeast Michigan. Dr. Rafie recently earned his executive MBA and certification in AI in medicine.
