Dr. Venky Krishnaswamy was the Founder and CEO of Koopid Inc., a venture-backed startup that delivers an industry-leading Digital-First and AI-Native Contact Center platform. Koopid was acquired by Dialpad Inc. in 2021, following which Venky served as Dialpad’s CCaaS Evangelist, driving the vision for AI-powered omni-channel customer engagement. Prior to Koopid, Venky was the worldwide head of Avaya Labs where he led the development of a number of first-of-a-kind enterprise communications technologies and applications. He holds over 50 granted patents, has co-authored over 50 scholarly papers and is a two-time winner of the prestigious Thomas Edison Award for his pioneering inventions on the use of AI techniques in Unified Communications. 

He is an accomplished public speaker as well and has delivered keynote presentations at numerous industry conferences.

Venky has a BTech from Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) and Masters and PhD from Yale University.
